Ordered for pick up. Chicken shawarma was very tasty, was made from quality ingredients. Thank you guys, I’ ve been waiting for many year for tasty fast healthy food in Dallas!
I love shawarma wraps and Marakanda Grill looked inviting—and worth a try. I ordered a lavash lamb shawarma to go and it was the best that I’ve found in Dallas/Plano area. The Uzbek sauce added a smoky chili profile without the heat, and the lamb was tender and complimented the fresh flavors of cucumber, parsley, and yogurt so well. Highly recommended!
Meat bowls were great. Good variety of veggies, nice sauce that is not overbearing, well seasoned meat and good rice. Looks a little small but pretty filling. Haven't seen an Uzbek restaurant in DFW so glad to have these guys here.
FAKE REVIEWS. Most of the positive reviews are coming from Russian people, most likely faked from their friends at the Russian restaurant around the corner. Went there yesterday to get some wraps but the guy taking the order could barely speak a word of English meaning we had to repeat everything 10 times and still had the order completely wrong. It was also quite pricey for a small wrap and the fries were really low quality.
Save your money and go elsewhere!! My husband and I had the worst lunch experience here a few days ago. We walked in around 1pm and not a single soul was dinning there. That should have been a good enough indicator to go eat elsewhere but I like trying new restaurants so we decided to get a table instead. The place seems clean and when you walk in you can see a lamb and a chicken shawarma style grill which btw is NOT TURNED ON. The meat is just sitting out there at room temp for God knows how long! The guy sliced some meat and cooked it on the skillet then proceeded to making the bowl. We ordered a chicken and a beef plus lamb bowl. For appetizers we ordered the hummus with bread. We waited for about 25 mins (being the only customer there) and the guy brings us the bowls but no appetizer. When we remind him he says "oh yeah ok". He brings the dry hummus with not even a drop of olive oil served with "tortilla". The texture and taste of the hummus was that of the Ziyad hummus cans you can buy at your local market. The chicken in my bowl taste like plastic. It had no flavor and a weird texture to it. The beef and lamb bowl had a foul smell to it. There was not much beef but more like lamb only and you could tell it was stale. We walked in hungry and left hungry. Didn't even eat half of our food and ended up going elsewhere after wasting about an hour of our time and $35. We eat out all the time and Mediterranean food is one of my favorites. There reviews seem fake. I won't be surprised if this restaurant goes out of business soon. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!
My husband and I had two bowls from here and they were delicious!! I had the beef and my husband had the chicken. Very tasty, not salty and so fresh and yummy!! Definitely going back!!
OMG!!! Guys, that’s the BEST Shawarma I ever eat in my whole life!! There’s meat wrap shawarma I really love it! And my brother loved chicken wrap shawarma! So enjoy to eat that. It reminds me exactly as in Russia in my home city❤️ Y’all should try that, you will not regret!!!
Meat bowl is the best!!! They mix beef and lamb, so the meat isn’t dry, just perfect! Staff is very friendly, nice and clean place. Quick and easy food. 100% to recommend!
